sunset, sunrise

The sunrise/sunset in Jyvaskyla at 1am on the longest day of the year.

The sun does dip below the horizon, but not far enough to make it dark. We have twilight for an hour or two, then the bright light returns!

  1. Isn't that amazing!? When I was in Lofoten, Norway on Summer Solstice, we went sailing at midnight in full light. We went to bed at 2am and the sky looked just like your picture. So glad you got to stay through Solstice!
