Sunrise

Today we could see light growing on the horizon at 7:30am. It is 8:30 now and still not bright daylight, but light nonetheless (and snowing). When we arrived three weeks ago this process didn't start until at least 9 or 9:30 in the morning. Granted, we were sleeping at that time of morning when we first arrived so those are just guesses, but the light we have now at 8:30 is about what we had at 10:30 on our first day. The day grows longer quickly in these parts. It does, after all, have to get to 20 hours of sun-UP by the end of June.
